| Brookfield Zoo is open every day of the year from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, zoo hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Indoor animal exhibits close a half hour before the zoo closes.) On Sundays from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the zoo is open until 7:30 p.m. Admission is $11 for adults and $7 for children 3-11 and seniors 65 and over. Children 2 and under are admitted free. Admission to the zoo is free on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays in January and February; and from October through December, admission is free on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tickets to Brookfield Zoo may be purchased online at www.BrookfieldZoo.org. From early spring through late fall, Brookfield Zoo also offers an All-in-One Ticket, which includes general admission, as well as discount admission to the zoo’s attractions. Parking is $8 for cars and $10.75 for buses. (A Cook County parking tax is included.) The mission of the Chicago Zoological Society, which manages Brookfield Zoo, is to inspire conservation leadership by connecting people with wildlife and nature. Open every day of the year, the zoo is located off First Avenue between the Stevenson (I-55) and Eisenhower (I-290) expressways and is also accessible via the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), Metra commuter line, CTA, and PACE bus service. |

Thursday November 20, 2008 - Sunday November 23, 2008 Devised by Benny Green and Alan Strachan, this “delightful, delicious, and d’lovely” musical review sheds light on a beloved name in the annals of American music. Porter was the composer of such songs as “I Love Paris,” “Night and Day,” “Anything Goes,” “Let’s Misbehave,” and “It Was Just One of Those Things.” This production of “Cole” will be directed by Janice Pohl, director of theatre at Elmhurst College; the music director is Scott Uddenberg, adjunct professor of music. “Cole Porter is one of the great American songwriters, said Uddenberg. “This show takes its audience on a musical journey through his life. It will be a joyful experience for all ages.” Curtain time is 8:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
